“We stayed in a 2 queen bedroom in June 2026. The room was very old fashioned looking with old furniture. The mattresses were like cement. The room had bugs crawling around in the bathroom area and in the tub. We spent a lot of time killing bugs. The microwave was hiding inside a cupboard on a shelf about one inch above the ground. Really hard to use it when it's basically sitting on the floor. The refrigerator was also on the same level, and it was permanently set at a higher than normal temp (……

“Very friendly and helpful staff. It was so nice to be able to park at the hotel early in the day so we could visit the town and ride the train even though we weren't checking in until later that evening. Restaurants and shops are very close, everything is walkable. Our room was very nice and breakfast was great. We had a very enjoyable stay.”

“Brand spanking new property in a wonderful location for being downtown. The staff is just getting started and were very friendly and helpful, including the manager. Still working out kinks, but very pleasant room and good breakfast. My most serious complaint is with the garage fans running full blast, making noise for nearby residences and hotel properties.”

“This property backs up to the Animas River and you have immediate access to the walking/ bike trails the run along both sides of the river. If you reserve a room on the back, you can enjoy the river view and sounds it makes. The garage for parking is a dream for anyone who worries about hotel parking lots. It was clean, safe, and secure. “Very nice river view in our room. Only issue is that shuttle service not available to and from Airport. There are two shuttles on property but are only used for airport staff and not hotel guests. Even if there was a nominal charge we should have been able to use shuttle as taxi service is very unreliable and lengthy. We waited over an hour at airport for taxi.”

“For the price my family paid, it was very underwhelming. The room was hot; the door didn't lock properly; it was clean but not well-maintained; and it lacked nutritious food. I would expect this from a cheap hotel, but not one that is more than $130 a night.”

“The hotel room was spacious and very nice. The coffee table was damaged and needed to be replaced. The pool and hot tub were amazing. The entire hotel is well kept up and beautiful. It just needed a new coffee table.”

“Scott, the front desk manager, was very courteous and helpful. On the downside, the TVs remote systems were both very confusing to use. Simple things like figuring out what channel to turn to ....very complicated, little navigating to find the channel guide! Not exactly like some systems as Holiday Inn or Hilton properties use like DIRECTV.”

“Far from Downtown, on the main road (noisy), broken tiles in bathroom, air conditioner loud and did not cool the room much, single-ply toilet paper, no shampoo/conditioner, door lock very difficult to open with actual brass key. Room was clean. Pricepoint was good but not considering the condition. We were disappointed.”
